StartHere at the Conservative Party Conference 2011

Our fringe event ‘Mapping the Big Society: Joining up community services’ at this year’s Conservative Party Conference was a great success and we were delighted that the Rt. Hon. Francis Maude was able to attend. Thanks to our excellent speakers Angie Bray MP, the broadcaster Liz Barclay and John Coulthard, Director of Social Enterprise at Microsoft and the many contributions from floor. You can see pictures from the fringe event here.

In his closing conference speech, David Cameron placed emphasis on leadership and initiative at the local level, within communities, business and other private and public sector organisations. We believe we have an important role to play: working collaboratively with key partners to develop a ‘hyperlocal’, neighbourhood-level map of services. If you would like to find out more please get in touch.
